Courses : Bachelor of Business Management

Bachelor of Business Management is a six semester course. Each year is divided into two semesters and the course is, therefore, a three year degree course. This graduate programme in Business Management gives widespread exposure to modern management and business administration spanning various arenas like Finance, Marketing, Administration, Human Resource Management and Company Law along with practical training. Business Management Degree provides a strong foundation to begin a career in managerial cadre or even to run one’s own independent business.
         
Duration: 3 Years. The academic year starts in June.
Age Limit: 17-35 Years.


  Bachelor of Business Management

Eligibility

Any candidate who has passed the Pre-University Examination conducted by Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka, or any other 10+2 examination considered as equivalent by Mangalore University, in Sciences, Commerce or Arts discipline is eligible for admission to this programme.

Admission Procedure

Applications can be collected from the trust / school office. The duly filled applications may be submitted with the following documents:

  • P.U.C. / +2 Marks Card.
  • 10th Std Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate (for Non-Karnataka students).

Fees:

The candidates have to pay the tuition fees as fixed by the management and can be paid in easy monthly installments.

Examinations

There will be two examinations in a year.

  • I, IIIrd and Vth semester examinations to be conducted in the month of October / November.
  • IInd, IVth and VIth semester examinations to be conducted in the month of April / May.

Each Examination will be held for a duration of 3 hours, consisting of 80 marks each.

Internal Assessment

Internal Assessment marks shall be 20 per subject, of which 10 shall be allotted on the basis of students performance in two internal tests and remaining 10 marks shall be on the basis of viva-voce, assignments and seminars. (Total marks therefore, shall be 100 per paper, 80 theory and 20 internal assessment).
